Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 29th Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

While still at the reinforcement camp, he was transferred to the 21st Battalion

 

Sep 20, 1918

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Abrahamson joined the 21st Battalion east of Canal du Nord, south of the Arras – Cambrai Road

 

Oct 11, 1918

During the 21st Battalion’s liberation of the town of Iwuy, France, Private Abrahamson received a through and through machine gun bullet wound just above his left ankle and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 33 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Oct 13, 1918

Transferred via the No. 6 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 2 Canadian Stationary Hospital in Outreau, France

 

Oct 17, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship St. David

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the 2nd Western General Hospital in Manchester

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Oct 25, 1918

Transferred to the Lake Auxiliary Military Hospital, Ashton-Under-Lyne

 

Dec 6, 1918

Transferred to the Princess Patricia Canadian Red Cross Hospital in the Cooden Camp, Bexhill

Discharged from hospital and transferred to the 6th Reserve Battalion in Seaford

Granted 10 days sick leave
