After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Acker joined the 21st Battalion at the front, south of the Arras – Cambrai Road, just west of Marquion, France

While the 21st Battalion was advancing towards the Erclin River, west of Iwuy, France, Private Acker received a shrapnel wound to his left buttock and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 1 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

Transferred via the No. 1 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 54 General Hospital in Aubengue, France

Transferred to the No. 1 Convalescent Depot in Boulogne, France

Transferred to the No. 10 Convalescent Depot in Ecault, France

 

Oct 26, 1918

Transferred to the No. 25 General Hospital in Hardelot, France

Transferred to the No. 1 Convalescent Depot in Boulogne, France
