During the liberation of the town of Iwuy, France the day before, Private Akrigg was exposed to a gas attack and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transferred to the No. 1 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

Transferred via the No. 146 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 18 General Hospital in Camiers, France

 

Oct 21, 1918

Transferred to the No. 6 Convalescent Depot in Etaples, France

Transferred to the No. 12 Convalescent Depot in Aubengue, France

 

Nov 9, 1918

Transferred to the No. 5 Rest Camp in Ostrove, France

Discharged from hospital care and reported to the Canadian Infantry Base Depot in Etaples, France
