Medical Board agrees with report filed and recommends his discharge – this recommendation has a “Third Divisional Area” stamp with the date “May 12, 1915” on it.

 Note: 

Even though he was struck off strength of the Battalion on April 1, and on one page of the file it states he was discharged on that date, the Medical Board did not recommend his discharge until May 3, 1915, and that is stamped May 12, 1915. 

Written by hand on the first page of his Attestation Papers is the following:

“Declared Med unfit by board held Kingston 2/5/15 with Inflammatory Rheumatism.  Letter 5/12/1915”

 There are no Discharge papers in the file.
