Admitted to the No. 18 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station) suffering with pain from adhesions from a previous surgery

Transferred via the No. 12 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 7 Stationary Hospital in Boulogne, France.  The diagnosis was changed to read Ventral Hernia

 

Dec 11, 1916

Discharged from hospital and reported to the Canadian Base Depot in the Rouelles Camp, Havre

 

Dec 13, 1916

Readmitted to the No. 7 Stationary Hospital with pain from his hernia

 

Dec 15, 1916

Invalided to England on the Hospital Ship St. Andrew

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the No. 4 Northern General Hospital in Lincoln

Transferred to the General List of Officers for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Dec 23, 1916

Transferred to the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Millbank, London

Discharged from hospital and attached to the GDD (Garrison Duty Depot) in Hastings
