Admitted to the Edinburgh Castle Military Hospital in Scotland after having had a Rubella contact

Discharged to duty from hospital

Transferred to the 21st Battalion

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Cameron joined the 21st Battalion resting in Bretencourt, France

 

Aug 15, 1918

While passing through the town of Fouquescourt, France, the battalion came under a gas attack and Private Cameron suffered both burns and respiratory damage.  He was evacuated to the No. 11 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 47 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Aug 20, 1918

Transferred via the No. 24 AT (Ambulance Train) to the channel coast where he embarked the Hospital Ship Gloucester Castle

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the 2nd Western General Hospital in Manchester

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Aug 26, 1918

Transferred to the Bank Meadow Hospital in Manchester

 

Aug 30, 1918

Transferred to the Military Convalescent Hospital in Woodcote Park, Epsom

 

Sep 18, 1918

Discharged from hospital care and transferred to the 6th Reserve Battalion in Seaford and posted to “B” Company

Granted 12 days sick leave
