Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 54th Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

Before he could join the 54th Battalion at the front, he was transferred to the 21st Battalion

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Camilani joined the 21st Battalion at the front near Cambrai as part of a draft of 156 reinforcements and was posted to “D” Company

 

Dec 13, 1918

The 21st Battalion led the 2nd Division across the Bonn Bridge to enter Germany as part of the Occupying Force and proceeded to Seigburg

 

 

Feb 13, 1919

Admitted to the No. 6 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) with a diagnosis that reads Scabies

 

Feb 27, 1919

Discharged from the field ambulance and rejoined the battalion in Ham Sur Sambre, Belgium

 

Mar 9, 1919

The Battalion moved to Namur, Belgium for guard duty

 

Mar 30, 1919

The 21st Battalion proceeded to Havre, France in preparation to proceed to England

 

Apr 2, 1919

Admitted to the No. 39 General Hospital in Havre, with a  diagnosis that reads Influenza

Transferred to the Canadian General List for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Apr 9, 1919

Discharged to duty from hospital

 

Apr 16, 1919

Proceeded to England and attached to “N” Wing in Witley pending return to Canada
