During the liberation of the town of Iwuy, France, Private Charron received a superficial shrapnel wound to his right temple and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid

Transferred via the No. 146 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 4 General Hospital in Camiers, France

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Stad Antwerpen

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the Roy Herbert Hospital, Woolwich

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

Transferred to the Military Convalescent Hospital in Woodcote Park, Epsom

 

Nov 1, 1918

Discharged from hospital and attached to Kinmel Park, Rhyl pending return to Canada

Attached to the No. 2 CCD (Canadian Command Depot)
