The 21st Battalion trained in the Kingston, Ontario area through the winter of 1914-15.

Forfeited 1 day’s pay for an unrecorded offence

SOS (Struck Off Strength) the 21st Battalion and discharged from the CEF.  His service file states he was discharged as Medically Unfit, however the Part II Orders record that he was discharged at his own request.

Ernest Alvin Childerhose died in Vancouver, British Columbia and was buried in the Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC
