apprehended or paid any penalty for deserting. A
report in the Toronto Daily Star, February 17, 1915, reports that he was arrested and
sentenced to 90 days in jail for theft from stores on Queen St. The
Kingston Daily Standard does report on March 2, 1915, that he was arrested in Toronto and
was to be returned to Kingston for a Court Martial. No record of a Court Martial could be found. |
