Disembarked in Glasgow, Scotland and proceeded to Seaford, England where the draft was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion to continue training

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Danis joined the 21st Battalion west of Marcelcave, France

While in the front line near Guillaucourt, France, Private Danis suffered the effects of a gas attack and was evacuated to the No. 5 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid

Transferred to the No. 48 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Aug 22, 1918

Transferred via the No. 25 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 3 Stationary Hospital in Rouen, France

 

Aug 25, 1918

Discharged from hospital and transferred to the No. 13 Convalescent Depot in Trouville, France

 

Sep 19, 1918

After leaving the convalescent depot, he joined the Canadian Infantry Base Depot in Etaples, France

After leaving the base depot, he joined the Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp in Aubin St. Vaast, France

After leaving he reinforcement camp, Private Danis rejoined the 21st Battalion in the front line, south of the Arras – Cambrai Road at Buissy, France

Admitted to the No. 9 Canadian Field Ambulance with a diagnosis that reads VDS (Venereal Disease Syphilis).  He was transported the same day to the No. 33 Casualty Clearing Station
