During the liberation of the town of Iwuy, France, Private Dubois received a bullet wound that passed through his left leg and he was evacuated to a Canadian Field Ambulance for first aid before being transported to a Casualty Clearing Station

Transferred to the No. 56 General Hospital in Etaples, France

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Stad Antwerpen

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the Suffolk Hospital in Bury St. Edmunds

Transferred to the Auxiliary Hospital in Bury St. Edmunds
