Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 29th Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

While still at the reinforcement camp before he could join the 29th Battalion, he was transferred to the 21st Battalion

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Ekman joined the 21st Battalion on the Arras – Cambrai Road, just west of Canal du Nord and was posted to “B” Company

 

Nov 16, 1918

Admitted to the No. 6 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) with a diagnosis that reads ICT (Interconnective Tissue Infection) of his neck.  He was transferred the same day to the No. 57 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Nov 19, 1918

Transferred via the No. 32 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 22 General Hospital in Camiers, France

 

Dec 13, 1918

Transferred to the No. 6 Convalescent Depot in Etaples, France

 

Jan 5, 1919

Discharged from hospital care and reported to the Canadian Infantry Base Depot in Etaples

 

Feb 12, 1919

Transferred to the Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp in Aubin St. Vaast, France
