After leaving the base depot, Private Galloway joined the 21st Battalion in Fouquescourt, France

During the capture of Iwuy, France, Private Galloway received a shrapnel wound to his left hand and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 1 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

Transferred via the No. 22 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 18 General Hospital in Camiers, France

Discharged from hospital and transferred to the No. 6 Convalescent Depot in Etaples, France

Transferred to the No. 12 Convalescent Depot in Aubengue, France

 

Oct 29, 1918

Transferred to the No. 5 Rest Camp in Ecault, France

 

Nov 3, 1918

Transferred to the Canadian Infantry Base Depot in Etaples, France

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Galloway rejoined the 21st Battalion resting in Mesvin, Belgium
