Transferred to the 21st Battalion

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

While still at the reinforcement camp, and before he could join the 21st Battalion at the front, he was transferred to the 44th Battalion

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Greaney joined the 44th Battalion west of Douai, France

 

Nov 1, 1918

While advancing along the west side of the Rhonelle River, south of Valenciennes, France, Private Greaney received a wound to his right leg and was evacuated to the No. 11 FA (Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 22 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Nov 3, 1918

Transferred via the No. 107 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 20 General Hospital in Dannes Camiers, France

 

Nov 6, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Stad Antwerpen

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the Tankerton Hospital in Whitstable

Transferred to the NBRD (New Brunswick Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Nov 22, 1918

Transferred to the Military Hospital in Shorncliffe

 

Nov 29, 1918

Transferred to the Princess Patricia Canadian Red Cross Hospital in the Cooden Camp, Bexhill

 

Feb 28, 1919

Discharged from hospital and transferred to the 13th Battalion in Ripon

Granted 12 days sick leave

Transferred to Military District No. 3 Wing in Kinmel Park, Rhyl pending return to Canada
