           On August 8th a draft of forty other ranks, chiefly from OTTAWA ONTARIO, joined the Battalion from the 2nd Divisional Wing, CCRC.  Standing Orders were read and explained to this personnel, after which they were posted to companies, and instructed to be ready to proceed forward on short notice.
