After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Calonne Ricouart, France

After leaving the reinforcing camp, Private Halladay joined the 21st Battalion in Gouy Servins, France as part of a draft of 105 reinforcements to replace the recent losses and was posted to “D” Company

 

Dec 13, 1918

The 21st Battalion led the 4th Brigade across the Bonn Bridge to enter Germany as part of the Occupying Force and proceeded to Seigburg

Granted 14 days leave

 

Feb 10, 1919

Rejoined the battalion in Ham Sur Sambre, Belgium

 

Apr 3, 1919

Embarked the Western Australia in Havre

 

On arrival in England, he was attached to “P” Wing in Witley pending return to Canada

Embarked the SS Caronia in Liverpool

 

 

May 22, 1919

Disembarked in Halifax, Nova Scotia and the battalion proceeded to Kingston, Ontario by train

 

May 26, 1919

Discharged from the CEF in Kingston, Ontario

Ø  Proposed residence on discharge given as Delta, Ontario
