The 21st Battalion was not in any action on this or the previous date, and no casualties are recorded in the war diary.  The diary does make note of 2 Companies being on loan, one each to the 18th and 19th Battalions in the front lines.  A check of those war diaries show heavy casualties for both dates. 

 



Above is a plaque in the Salford Ontario United Church.  It should be noted that this was originally a Methodist Church.   Archie Harrison's name is the second from the top, while his best friend, Wray Chambers, (also a 21st Battalion member) is the first name.
