Disembarked in Liverpool, England and proceeded to Seaford where the draft was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion to continue training

Transferred to the 21st Battalion

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

 

Aug 15, 1918

After leaving the base depot, Private Holden joined the 21st Battalion near Fouquescourt, France

During the capture of Iwuy, France, Private Holden received a wound to his right foot and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 1 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

Transferred via the No. 22 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 18 General Hospital Camiers, France

Transferred to the No. 6 Convalescent Depot in Etaples

Transferred to the No. 7 Canadian General Hospital in Etaples with a diagnosis that reads Influenza

Transferred back to the No. 6 Convalescent Depot in Etaples
