Disembarked in Liverpool, England and transferred to the 17th Reserve Battalion.  The draft proceeded to the Segregation Camp, Frensham Pond, Bramshott to ensure there were no cases of Influenza in the group

 

May 22, 1918

Admitted to the Isolation Hospital in Aldershot with a diagnosis that reads NYD (Not Yet Determined).  This was later changed to read Rubella

 

Jun 4, 1918

Discharged from hospital and joined the 17th Reserve Battalion in Bramshott

Transferred to the 85th Battalion

 

Sep 13, 1918

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 85th Battalion

 

Sep 16, 1918

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

 

Sep 19, 1918

While still at the reinforcement camp, and before he could join the 85th at the front, he was diverted and transferred to reinforce the 21st Battalion

 

Sep 20, 1918

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Hubley joined the 21st Battalion at the front on the Arras – Cambrai Road, just west of Canal du Nord

 

Oct 11, 1918

During the capture of Iwuy, France, Private Hubley received a through and through bullet wound to his right leg and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid

 

Oct 12, 1918

Transferred to the No. 33 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Oct 14, 1918

Transferred to the No. 5 Canadian General Hospital in Kirkdale, Liverpool

 

Oct 16, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Essequibo

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the No. 15 Canadian General Hospital in Taplow

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Dec 13, 1918

Discharged from hospital and attached to the 1st CCD (Canadian Command Depot) in Witley

Granted 13 days sick leave

Transferred to the 6th Reserve Battalion in Seaford
