Transferred to the 54th Battalion

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 54th Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

During the capture of Iwuy, France, Private Jackson received a shrapnel wound to his left arm and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance)

 

Oct 12, 1918

Transferred to the No. 1 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station) where a piece of shrapnel was removed from his arm

 

Oct 13, 1918

Transferred via the No. 146 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 4 Canadian General Hospital in Camiers, France

 

Oct 20, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Princess Elizabeth

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the 2nd Western General Hospital in Manchester

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Nov 28, 1918

Forfeited total of 8 day’s pay for absent for 2 days

Transferred to the Bank Meadow Military Hospital in Manchester
