Disembarked in Glasgow, Scotland and proceeded to Seaford, England where the draft was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion to continue training

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

Aug 7, 1918 After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Kerrigan joined the 21st Battalion west of Marcelcave, France.  The Battalion was in final preparations for the attack on the village of Marcelcave as part of the Amiens offensive

During fighting west of the Sensee River, south of Vis en Artois, France, Private Kerrigan received shrapnel wounds to his chest, back and neck and was evacuated to the No. 4 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid

Transferred to the No. 42 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Sep 3, 1918

Transferred via the No. 26 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 8 Stationary Hospital in Wimereux, France

Reported to be seriously ill

 

Sep 12, 1918

Now reported to be dangerously ill

 

Oct 13, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Pieter de Coninck

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the War Hospital in Chester
