Embarked the SS Lapland in Halifax, Nova Scotia as part of the 1st Regimental Draft of the 2nd Depot Battalion, EOR

Disembarked in Glasgow, Scotland and proceeded to Seaford, England where the draft was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion to continue training

Transferred to the 21st Battalion

 

Jun 11, 1918

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

 

Aug 7, 1918

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Kissick joined the 21st Battalion west of Marcelcave, France.  The battalion was making final preparations for the beginning of the Amiens offensive and the attack on Marcelcave.  He was posted to “D” Company

 

Aug 26, 1918

During fighting west of the Sensee River, south of Vis en Artois, France, Private Kissick received wounds to his right leg and arm.  He was evacuated to the No. 5 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to a casualty clearing station

 

Aug 27, 1918

Transferred to the No. 25 General Hospital in Hardelot, France

 

Aug 31, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Cambria

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the Military Auxiliary Hospital in Frodsham.  He was later transferred to the Chester War Hospital

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Dec 2, 1918

Transferred to the Princess Patricia Canadian Red Cross Hospital in the Cooden Camp, Bexhill

 

Feb 7, 1919

Discharged from hospital care and transferred to the 6th Reserve Battalion in Seaford

Granted 10 days sick leave

 

Feb 15, 1919

Admitted to the No. 14 Canadian General Hospital in Eastbourne while on leave with a diagnosis that reads Influenza

Discharged to duty from hospital and joined the 6th Reserve Battalion in Seaford

Transferred to Military District No. 4 Wing in Kinmel Park, Rhyl pending return to Canada
