Transferred to the 21st Battalion

Arrived at the No. 2 CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and TOS (Taken On Strength) the 21st Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Villers au Bois, France

 

Nov 24, 1917

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Lamb joined the 21st Battalion in the front line near Acheville, France

Attached to the 182nd Company, Royal Engineers for duty

 

Dec 21, 1917

Rejoined the 21st Battalion in billets in Auchy au Bois, France from duty with the engineers

 

Oct 11, 1918

During the liberation of the town of Iwuy, France, Private Lamb received a shrapnel wound to his right arm and was evacuated to the No. 9 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to a casualty clearing station

 

Oct 13, 1918

Transferred to the No. 18 General Hospital in Camiers, France

 

Oct 18, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Stad Antwerpen

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the Norfolk War Hospital in Thorpe, Norfolk

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Nov 11, 1918

Transferred to the Canadian Military Convalescent Hospital in Woodcote Park, Epsom

 

Nov 29, 1918

Discharged from hospital care and transferred to the 6th Reserve Battalion in Seaford

Granted 12 days sick leave

Attached to Military District No. 2 Wing in Kinmel Park, Rhyl pending return to Canada
