While still at the reinforcement camp, and before he could join the 21st Battalion at the front, he was transferred to the 44th Battalion

During fighting near Famars, France, Private Levetoire received a shrapnel wound to his right leg and was evacuated to the No. 12 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance0 for first aid before being transported to the No. 42 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

Transferred to the No. 26 General Hospital in Etaples, France

 

Nov 5, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Stad Antwerpen

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the 1st Southern General Hospital in Birmingham

Transferred to the NBRD (New Brunswick Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

Transferred to the Canadian Military Convalescent Hospital in Woodcote Park, Epsom

Attached to the No. 1 CCD (Canadian Command Depot) in Witley for physical training and exercise
