Released from the segregation camp and joined the 17th Reserve Battalion in Bramshott

Transferred to the 85th Battalion

 

Sep 13, 1918

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 85th Battalion

 

Sep 16, 1918

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

While still at the reinforcement camp, and before he could join the 85th Battalion at the front, he was transferred to the 21st Battalion

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Linden joined the 21st Battalion bivouacked in a field west of Cagnicourt, France and was posted to “D” Company.

Admitted to the No. 14 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) with a diagnosis that reads Bronchitis.  He was transferred the same day to the No. 4 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

Transferred to the No. 18 General Hospital in Camiers, France

 

Dec 16, 1918

Transferred to the No. 6 Convalescent Depot in Etaples, France

 

Dec 17, 1918

Transferred to the No. 5 Convalescent Depot in Cayeux, France
