He was originally recorded as having died between November 9 and November 12, but this was later changed to read November 9, 1917. 

He was originally buried in what was called the Wietze Cemetery near Ypres Belgium.  When the cemeteries were consolidated, the name was changed to read The Oxford Road Cemetery.
