Transferred to the newly formed 6th Reserve Battalion in East Sandling

The 6th Reserve Battalion moved to Seaford to train reinforcements for the front

Transferred to the 21st Battalion

Arrived at the CBD (Canadian Base Depot) in the Rouelles Camp, Havre, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

After leaving the base depot, Private MacDermid joined the 21st Battalion in Aux Rietz, France and was posted to the Headquarters Section

Embarked the Western Australia in Havre, France

 

On arrival in England, he was attached to “P” Wing in Witley pending return to Canada

Disembarked in Halifax, Nova Scotia and proceeded to Kingston, Ontario by train

After graduating from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec as a Medical Doctor, he entered the USA at St. Albans, Vermont.  He proceeded to Trenton, New Jersey to be a Resident Intern at the Mercer Hospital.  His stated profession was Physician

In 1925 he married Edith Godwin

When his residency was completed, he opened a practice as a family physician in Bordentown, New Jersey

Lynden MacDermid MD died while a patient in the Mercer Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey, USA and was buried in the Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown, New Jersey
