Disembarked in England and proceeded to Seaford where the draft was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion to continue training

Transferred to the 21st Battalion

 

Sep 27, 1918

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

 

Sep 28, 1918

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

 

Oct 3, 1918

While still at the reinforcement camp, and before he could join the 21st Battalion at the front, he was transferred to the 44th Battalion

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private McIntosh joined the 44th Battalion west of Douai, France

During fighting south of Valenciennes, France, Private McIntosh received wounds to his right arm.  He was evacuated to the No. 11 FA (Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 22 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Nov 2, 1918

Transferred via the No. 37 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 47 General Hospital in Le Treport, France

 

Dec 15, 1918

Transferred to the No. 3 Convalescent Depot in Le Treport, France

 

Dec 21, 1918

Discharged to duty and reported to the Canadian Infantry Base Depot in Etaples, France

 

Jan 2, 1919

Transferred to the NBRD (New Brunswick Regimental Depot) and proceeded to England and attached to the Depot Company in Witley

 

Jan 11, 1919

Transferred to the 13th Reserve Battalion in Witley

 

Feb 22, 1919

Transferred to Military District No. 4 Wing in Kinmel Park, Rhyl pending return to Canada
