Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength the 85th Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

 

Sep 30, 1918

While still at the reinforcement camp, he was transferred to the 21st Battalion

 

Oct 3, 1918

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private McPherson joined the 21st Battalion on the Hindenburg Support Line south-west of Bourlon, France

 

Dec 13, 1918

The 21st Battalion crossed the Bonn Bridge to enter Germany as part of the Occupying Force and proceeded to Seigburg

Embarked the Western Australia in Havre, France

 

On arrival in England, he was posted to “P” Wing in Witley pending return to Canada

Transferred to “J” Wing in Witley pending return to Canada

Embarked the SS Olympic in Southampton

 

 

May 16, 1919

Disembarked in Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

May 25, 1919

Discharged from the CEF in Halifax, Nova Scotia
