Disembarked in England and proceeded to Seaford where the draft was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion to continue training

Transferred to the 21st Battalion

 

Sep 27, 1918

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

While still at the reinforcement camp, and before he could join the 21st Battalion at the front, he was transferred to the 44th Battalion

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Mondoux joined the 44th Battalion west of Douai, France

 

Nov 1, 1918

Private Mondoux was reported missing in action during heavy fighting but was soon located safe and rejoined the 44th Battalion

 

Dec 20, 1918

Admitted to the No. 13 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) with a diagnosis that reads NYD (Not Yet Determined).  He was transported the same day to the No. 48 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Dec 23, 1918

Transferred to the No. 55 Casualty Clearing Station

 

Dec 25, 1918

Transferred to the No. 7 General Hospital in Wimereux, France

 

Jan 5, 1919

Transferred to the No. 14 Stationary Hospital in Boulogne, France and the diagnosis was changed to read VDG (Venereal Disease Gonorrhea)

 

Jan 24, 1919

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Golden Eagle

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the Wallasey Town Hall Military Hospital, an extension of the 1st Western General Hospital in Liverpool

Transferred to the NBRD (New Brunswick Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

Transferred to the Canadian Convalescent Hospital in Woodcote Park, Epsom

Discharged from hospital care and transferred to the 13th Reserve Battalion in Ripon
