Disembarked at Liverpool England and proceeded to the Seaford Camp.  On arrival at Seaford the Battalion was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion and he had to revert to the rank of Private as the 6th Reserve Battalion had all the Sergeants that were required

Posted to the 21st Battalion 

Arrived at 2 CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) at Etaples and TOS (Taken On Strength) the 21st Battalion

Left the CIBD for the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp)

Arrived at the CC Rein C at Villers au Bois

Joined the 21st Battalion 

The 21st Battalion was in billets at Villers au Bois carrying out training exercises

 

Nov 4, 1917

Admitted to the No 6 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) with a shrapnel wound to his thigh that he suffered during the fighting at Passchendaele.  He was transferred the same day via No 16 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to No 44 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

Transferred to the Canadian Convalescent Hospital at Bearwood Park, Wokingham

Discharged from hospital and On Command to the 3rd CCD (Canadian Convalescent Depot)

Discharged from the 3rd CCD and posted to the 6th Reserve Battalion at Seaford
