Attached to the 125th Battalion in Witley

Arrived at the No. 2 CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France and Taken On Strength of the 21st Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Ripley joined the 21st Battalion in the front line near Mercatel, France

Admitted to the No. 6 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) with a diagnosis that reads Albuminuria.  (an indication of kidney disease).  He was transferred the same day to the No. 33 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Aug 1, 1918

Transferred via the No. 22 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 54 General Hospital in Aubengue, France

 

Aug 14, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Jan Breydel

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the General Military Hospital in Colchester and the diagnosis was changed to read Nephritis.  He was transferred the same day to the Ilford Emergency Hospital in Newbury Park, London

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

Transferred to the Military Convalescent Hospital in Woodcote Park, Epsom

 

Nov 8, 1918

Attached to the Segregation Camp in Kinmel Park, Rhyl

Attached to the 1st CCD (Canadian Command Depot) in Witley
