Disembarked at Liverpool England and TOS (Taken On Strength) the 7th Reserve Battalion at Seaford

Posted to the 21st Battalion 

Arrived at CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) at Havre France and TOS 21st Battalion

Joined the 21st Battalion in the field 

The Battalion was involved in the fighting at Amiens at this time.  Pte Rose joined the rear details near Marcelcave, as part of a draft of 48 Other Ranks

Admitted to No 5 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) with blistered feet.  On same day was transferred to No 47 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station) 

The Battalion was on a march from Guillaucourt to Boves.

Admitted to No 18 General Hospital at Camiers

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Princess Elizabeth

  

Posted to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) while in hospital 

Admitted to Grange War Hospital at Deal and diagnosis changed to read ICT (Inter Connective Tissue) infection of the feet and noted as being severe

Transferred to No 9 Canadian General Hospital at Shorncliffe

Transferred to the Princess Patricia Canadian Red Cross Hospital at Cooden Camp, Bexhill
