Disembarked in Glasgow, Scotland and proceeded to Seaford, England where the draft was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion to continue training

Arrived at the CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Aubin St. Vaast, France

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private Stevenson joined the 21st Battalion resting in Manin, France

While advancing south of the Arras – Cambrai Road just east of Vis en Artois, France, Private Stevenson was wounded in his left leg by a piece of shrapnel and evacuated to the No. 4 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 33 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Sep 2, 1918

Transferred via the No. 17 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 2 Australian General Hospital in Wimereux, France

He was reported to be dangerously ill when his leg became severely infected

 

Oct 2, 1918

Removed from the dangerously ill list

 

Oct 9, 1918

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Cambria

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the 1st Western General Hospital in Fazakerley, Liverpool

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

 

Mar 14, 1919

Transferred to the Military Convalescent Hospital in Woodcote Park, Epsom

 

Jun 13, 1919

Discharged to duty from hospital and reported to the Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot in Seaford

Granted 12 days sick leave
