Ø      Previous military experience given as 3 years with the 4th Seaforth Highlanders in Scotland

Ø      Assigned to “F” Company

o       This was later reorganized into “D” Company when the Battalion reverted to the 4 Company system 

It should also be noted that he later served in the Pipe Band
