Disembarked in Devonport, England and the battalion proceeded to the West Sandling Camp, near Hythe, Kent to continue training

Embarked the St. Seiriol in Folkestone

Disembarked in Boulogne, France and the battalion proceeded to St. Omer

Awarded the Good Conduct Badge

Rejoined the battalion at the front west of Lens, France from duty with the YMCA

Aug 15, 1917

During the capture of Hill 70 near Lens, France, Private Teale received a wound to his right foot and suffered the effects of poison gas.  He was evacuated to the No. 4 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) for first aid before being transported to the No. 23 CCS (Casualty Clearing Station)

 

Aug 16, 1917

Transferred to the No. 18 General Hospital in Camiers, France

 

Oct 1, 1917

Discharged from hospital for duty with the No. 2 CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France

 

Oct 19, 1917

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CCRC (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) near Poperinge, Belgium where he was retained for duty

 

Jul 18, 1918

Admitted to the No. 59 Casualty Clearing Station for an eye test

 

Jul 20, 1918

Rejoined the Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp in Aubin St. Vaast, France from the casualty clearing station
