Even though the Attestation Papers are dated Aug 14 for attestation, he is shown on the pay records for the 36th Regiment from August 16 to August 25, 1915.  He is also shown as being absent for 1½ days during this period. 

On August 26, 1916 he appears on the paylist for the 35th Battalion for the first time.

Pte WH Tremblett has no known grave and is commemorated on the Vimy Ridge Memorial in France

 

 

The British War Medal, Victory Medal, Death Plaque, Scroll and Memorial Cross were sent to his widow who had remarried August 31, 1921.  She was then known as Mrs Bertha M Koloff of 22 Shade St, Galt Ontario. 

A Memorial Cross was also sent to his mother, Mrs MA Tremblett at 23 Delaney Cr, Toronto Ontario
