Discharged to duty from hospital

 

Nov 14, 1917

Transferred to the 21st Battalion

Arrived at the No. 2 CIBD (Canadian Infantry Base Depot) in Etaples, France as part of a draft of 83 reinforcements from England and TOS (Taken On Strength) the 21st Battalion

After leaving the base depot, he joined the CC Rein C (Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp) in Calonne Ricouart, France

 

Dec 2, 1917

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private White joined the 21st Battalion resting in the Suburban Camp, in Villers au Bois, France

 

Feb 27, 1918

Admitted to the No. 6 CFA (Canadian Field Ambulance) with a diagnosis that reads Inflamed Bursa.  He was transferred the same day to the No. 4 Canadian Field Ambulance.  This was later changed to read Bursitis Olecranon, an inflamed and swollen Bursa in the elbow

Mar 5, 1918

Transferred via the No. 35 AT (Ambulance Train) and admitted to the No. 4 General Hospital in Camiers, France

Transferred to the No. 6 Convalescent Depot in Etaples, France

 

May 11, 1918

Discharged from hospital care and reported to the Canadian Infantry Base Depot in Etaples

 

May 22, 1918

After leaving the base depot, he joined the Canadian Corps Reinforcement Camp in Aubin St. Vaast, France

 

May 28, 1918

After leaving the reinforcement camp, Private White rejoined the 21st Battalion

Invalided to England aboard the Hospital Ship Princess Elizabeth

 

On arrival in England, he was admitted to the Grange War Hospital in Deal and the diagnosis was changed to read Pleuropneumonia

Transferred to the EORD (Eastern Ontario Regimental Depot) for pay purposes while in hospital

Transferred to the Military Hospital in Shorncliffe

 

Nov 29, 1918

Transferred to the Princess Patricia Canadian Red Cross Hospital in the Cooden Camp, Bexhill

 

Dec 20, 1918

Discharged from hospital and transferred to the 6th Reserve Battalion in Seaford

Granted 10 days sick leave

 

Jan 3, 1919

Reprimanded for overstaying his leave from December 30, 1918 to January 2, 1919.  Forfeited 3 day’s pay for his absence

 

Jan 9, 1919

Attached to Military District No. 3 Wing at Kinmel Park, Rhyl pending return to Canada

Embarked the Hospital Ship Aquitania in Liverpool

 

 

Jan 23, 1919

Disembarked in Halifax, Nova Scotia and proceeded to Kingston, Ontario where he was Taken On Strength of Military District No. 3 Casualty Company
