The 21st Battalion led the 2nd Canadian Division across the Bonn Bridge to enter Germany as part of the Occupying Force and proceeded to Sieburg

Attached to the 4th Canadian Infantry Brigade for duty

Rejoined the 21st Battalion in in Ham Sur Sambre, Belgium

 

Apr 3, 1919

Embarked the Western Australia in Havre, France

 

On arrival in England, he was attached to “P” Wing in Witley pending return to Canada

Embarked the SS Caronia in Liverpool

 

 

May 22, 1919

Disembarked in Halifax, Nova Scotia and proceeded to Kingston, Ontario by train where he was transferred to the Military District No. 3 Casualty Company and posted to the Queens University Hospital to be employed as a Baker

Admitted to the Hamilton, Ontario Military Hospital with a diagnosis that reads Influenza
